John Gowing Jewellers
establish 1946 in Oxford's covered market
Trusted Expert Assessment
The probate valuation service we provide is professional and comprehensive, and all completed in house. Items are not sent away and we will generally have the valuation finished within a working week (subject to quantity). We also inspect the inventory prior to valuation and do not list any goods that really have no intrinsic value (although we can of course list these if specifically required).
The valuations are all carried out by John Gowing, a highly qualified watchmaker and jeweller with 46 years experience in the jewellery industry. Items in our trust are fully insured through T.H.March, the jewellery industry’s leading insurer, and kept in an insurance approved safe. We are a long standing member of the National Association of Jewellers and The Guild of Master Craftsmen, our family business being founded in 1946.
Probate valuations are priced according to the size and complexity of the estate. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be pleased to provide a quotation.
Please note that all valuation work is carried out by appointment. Items are carefully examined, photographed, researched and documented to ensure an accurate and comprehensive valuation.
Over 100 years of collective experience in fine jewellery in Oxford.
